I’m always looking for something fun and different to do!  Lets face it, eventually you get tired of the same old same old, and I’m grown now so the clubs are not where you will find JP!  So if you are in the same boat as me a couple of events caught my eye!  Check them out!

January 18, 19, 20, 2012/Ocean Drive/ Miami Beach

On January 18 – 20, 2013, the Miami Design Preservation League will be hosting its 36th Art Deco Weekend (ADW) festival in celebration of the preservation of Miami’s Art Deco District. For three days and nights Miami residents are invited to party, tour, shop, and experience a variety of entertainment in tents along Ocean Drive. Highlights of the weekend include guided walking tours, an indoor Art Deco and MiMo furniture exhibit and sale, an Art Deco/MiMo Fashion Show highlighted by Betty Paige retro designs, a grand parade of vintage cars, a film and lecture series and the VIP Speakeasy & Gala.

Hours are as follows:

  • Friday, January 18: Noon – 11PM
  • Saturday, January 19: 10AM – 11PM
  • Sunday, January 20: 10AM – 8PM
