I must admit when it comes to politics and finances, I try to stay knoweledgable but sometimes I get lost in all the details.  However, this morning when I checked my bank account I realized my paycheck was short.  I was like um what happened! Well fortunately for me Rochelle clued me in and told me this was a part of the fiscal cliff debacle.

I was flabergasted because I thought I had made it through unscathed.  However, apparently there was not an extension of the payroll taxcut, which means For those earning $50,000 a year, that means about $1,000 more in federal taxes will be taken out of your paychecks!

So there it is folks another reason to grind harder, and an even bigger reason to pay attention who you vote in to office!
